Time to go through customs in Glascow, Scotland
Hello,
I am traveling to Glascow at the end of July and will be taking Scotrail to Inverness (one way) upon arrival. My plane gets into Glascow at 6:55 a.m. I thought I'd purchase tickets from Scotrail and was wondering if anyone could give me an approximate time to get through customs so I know what time I should book train tickets for in Glascow?
Thank you!

You don't say what nationality you are and where you are travelling from. Any delay will most likely be at Immigration, not Customs, and/or how quickly your luggage is delivered to the arrivals hall.
You can catch a bus outside the terminal direct to Queen Street station where the Inverness train departs from. Looking at Scotrail's web site there is a train leaving at 8.41 and the next one is at 10.10. Given that the M8 motorway into Glasgow can be very busy at that time of day I would opt for the later train.

It's GlasGow, not GlasCow.
And you'll hear it called Glazgo, GlasgOW (not right), Glossgo, Glahssgo, Glesca and various other varieties. But not something akin to a silica-plated bovine.
Have fun.

Thanks to all who responded. I have a few more questions I hope someone can answer for me.
One thing I do not like when traveling is hauling luggage all over the place. I have some physical disabilities which are worsened by pulling on luggage.
The plan is to get tickets from ScotRail ahead of time for a train from Glasgow to Inverness (the week of July 19). I understand that I must first get from Glasgow airport to Queen Street station via bus in order to board a train.
1) Is the signage good for being able to find the bus pickup area?
2) Will I buy my ticket somewhere before getting on the bus? If so, where?
3) Where do I put my luggage?
4) Once I arrive at Queen Street station, how far will I have to walk to get to the train?
I apologize if I sound picky, but I also do not like surprises.
Thanks again.
