Time to discover what's on my doorstep!

Jump to last reply

I am planning to take 5 weeks in March and April next year and travel round a very small amount of Europe (mainly France, Switzerland, Italy and over to Greece) and need tips please!

I usually travel long haul for 5 weeks or more and I am used to camper-vanning,self drive, and I am partial to a train trip!

I want scenery, lakes, mountains, views, wine, pasta, gelato, history and beaches. Starting in France or Spain (I am from UK so getting there no problems) then to Switzerland, than all the way down Italy getting a ferry across to Greece before home.

How am I fixed for that time of year do you think? Any suggested itineraries and places to visit are welcome, and thank you in advance!
