Time Allotment - Baltic States/Finland & Sweeden

Jump to last reply

We planned our trip several months ago and felt satisfied with the number of days and places however in the past couple of weeks a few people have remarked that we should drop a day or two off of places (Tallin for examplke) and go elsewhere (i.e. St. Petersburg - which would be too late to do anyhow given the need for a visa etc.).

This is our plan: Fly into Helsinki and spend 2 nights there. We then would take a morning ferry to Tallin and have 2 nights there. From there we would take a bus to Riga and have 3 nights (2 1/2 days), then bus to Vilnius for 3 nights (2 1/2 days). We have a flight on day 11 to Stockholm which would give us 4 nights (3 1/2 days).

Are we staying too long in any one place? I figured we could do day trips if for some reason we ran out of things to do.

Thank you for any input.
