Tickets to Saints Chapelle Concerts
Do you have to buy tickets in advance for concerts at Sts. Chapelle or can you purchase them when you are in Paris? We will be there for 6 nights. Any suggestions for other concerts?

Hi
You can buy them on the spot.
However you'll pay full price.
I paid mine on billetreduc.com (cheaptickets).
Her my critic (that proves I've been there )

I paid 40% less - you have 3 zones, but any is correct. I was in the second zone.
Sugggestions : look at 'comédies musicales' on the same site.

FYI, it isn't plural saints, it isn't any saint at all. The word is Sainte which is simply the female adjective that means holy (ie, holy chapel).
I'd just look in a weekly entertainment guide (eg, Pariscope) when I got to Paris for concerts. There are usually various ones, some free, in churches around Paris. Some have fees of 10-20 euro, depending on performer and venue.

I also bought my ticket once there, but I did so a few hours in advance of the concert because I wanted to see Ste. Chapelle during the day, too. But only you can decide whether it is worth the risk of missing a concert....
You might also look into options to hear music at the Notre Dame.
Enjoy!

We bought in advance from www.classictic.com where other concerts in Paris,or other European cities, are also listed. We bought general seating up front which cost a bit more but well worth it. We chose a concert in the late afternoon with the sun streaming through those magnificent windows.
