Think November Air to Paris will go down ?
Did I miss the fall air sale to Paris. I don't recall seeing fares this high for the week of Thanksgiving. I guess oil prices are already being reflected in air fare?
Anyone know of websites for deals? Should I wait?
I am seeing $700 direct and $500 with stopover

Air France had a fall sale about 2 months ago -- I purchased tix to Venice via Paris for $453 including tax (for Thanksgiving). Keep checking their website on Wednesdays for updated announcements.

We are going Thanksgiving week also. I prefer to take AF direct from Lax but was not willing to Pay nearly $800.00 so I found a fare of around $600.00 on NWA website. It has a stop in Detroit for about two hours so that's not too bad.
I'm thinking with the high fuel costs I would not get much better. I only paid $500.00 last year at this time on Air France.

Don't know where you are traveling from but I just got an email from Travelocity - there are connecting flights from NYC on BA for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of every week in November starting at $225 rt before taxes, after taxes it got up to $495 somehow or other. Don't know if this helps,

Sarah what city are you going from? I was looking for the same time frame and on my orig plan the ticket from Newark to Paris on Lufthansa with 1 stop was about $600. I changed my plans and added a few days in London and did Newark-Frankfurt-London then London-Paris (on British Midlands) then my return was Paris-Frankfurt-Newark. Oddly enough when I added the london stopover the fare went down a hundred bucks!
Well I never bought the ticket. Instead I used my frequent flyer miles from United and I am doing the trip in first class.
Suzanne, I use to always fly from LA to Paris on Lufthansa via Frankfurt. I always found the flight to be reliable and a great deal in November The stopover isn't bad. You get in very early, connect and get to Paris at around 10am.

I am flying out of JFK or EWR.
Will reserve Delta at 487. Hate loosing that Sunday but I guess the last day usually is a wash anyway. I am always so frantic to get to the airport on time having been bumped by Alitalia once Thanksgiving.
