Thermal Bathing in Sciacca, Sicily

Jump to last reply

In March of next year I will be passing through Sciacca, Sicilly and was hoping to take advantage of the thermal baths there. Has anyone had experience with any of the facilities in the area?

I don't want treatments, just to swim and soak in the thermal waters. Whenever I travel in an area with thermal waters I love to indulge - it's a wonderful break in the trip.

The Molinelli complex looks perfect for me, but it is difficult to find consistent information, especially in English. I don't know if it is open only in the summer months or all year, visiting hours, do they rent towels, etc.
Has anyone used the Nuove Terme? I think that is in the older building near the Molinelli complex.

This is normally the kind of information I can glean from the web, but I'm not getting anywhere.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks, Baz
