There's nothing like a good Paris baguette

But if you're not there at the moment, you'll have to settle for this:

Thank you for the pleasant memories this produced, for a moment I thought I smelled a fresh baguette! I distinctly remember the smell early in the morning when all of the deliveries were being made, what a great way to wake up!

That's true especially if you happen to have some butter and wine - that makes the "holy trinity" for me!

Now I wish I had a baguette and that french butter...yum. I pointed to one loaf and it was so great, it had walnuts and must have been figs. They talk about that in this article. I loved it.

Unless it's a good Paris croissant.

When I was on an exchange in Toulon everyday after school we were given chocolate baguettes sandwiches. Not chocolate flavored but literally a baguette with a bar of chocolate in it. It Was so odd but worked a treat.
