Plage de I'Acciolu; La Balagne, Corsica;
Maison L'Immortelle near Sartenne, Corsica;
Paulillies near Banyuls sur Mer, Languedoc;
Argeles sur mer, Languedoc.
These should come as surprises - what secrets are missing and can we coax people to reveal them.
I wasn’t surprised that Skiathos was on there - the beaches there compare with the Caribbean but I haven’t been to that particular beach. I did expect to see Banyuls sur mer and Argeles sur mer on there and Aiguablava has been in my sights for a while, so not that secret.
Thanks to another Fodor Forum contributor, Es Trenc Beach in Majorca is a secret beach that has been revealed (at least to me) – others may well know it.
Any use?

Sorry, but no beach that consists of "sand" larger than real sand grains does not, IMO, "compare with the Caribbean."

Dukey

You have never been to Sardinia.

Other missed ones :

Tresco
Bamburgh
North Iona
Bolonia, Costa De la Luz
Elephant Beach , Cala di Volpe, Sardina
North Uist
Cala Mondrago, Mallorca
Vendicari nature reserve, Sicily

All pale into absolute insignificance compared to those in the Exumas, Bahamas. Many aren't technically beached but are sand bars which disappear to high tide. The colours are beyond description. It is totally depressing to return to Europe after seeing such colours.

Great example at 3:07 : be there next Easter.

It is absolute etiquette not to go on a beach that is occupied by someone else.

Not bad beaches, but neither secret nor the best one's. Es Trench is very popular since years too.
Kaputas is not that good, but scenic, extremely well known and usually crowded.
Golfo di Orosei is not a beach, but an area with 22 very popular and well known beaches, by far not the best of Sardinia, however.
The Gabbiano Beach at Maratea/Basilicata is a partly private hotel beach and nothing to write home about for sure,
etc. etc.
