Right, but NBC sucks. While ABC and CBS have been showing movies in high-defintion for many months, most movies on NBC, including tonites', are still being shown in standard defintion 4:3. What a joke!

Slightly on the topic.....the night we flew home from Venice we rented the Italian Job! IT was really neat to see all the places we had just been! Especially since we took a water taxi back to the hotel and went through all the little canals through Venice. (ON the way in we had to go around becasue the water levels were so high). I have no idea how they did the high speed boat chases in the movie!!

My dear Laura - the Italian Job was all about car chases, nothing to do with Venice. It utilised the iconic Mini Coopers - quite what film you are on about I have no idea. If you're talking about the remake, all I can say is - "see the original"!

Oops, I was talking about the remake. And the beginning was in Venice.....where they get the safe by dropping it into a canal and getting it into their boat..there were a few nice scenes of places we had recently seen!
The car scenes were later in the movie, and I am not sure which city, I forgot--maybe LA?
Sorry!
