The rain in Spain-What to do in the Costa del Sol with all the rain predicted this weekend and next week

As luck would have it, the rain will surely be on the agenda during my trip starting today. I will be in Malaga and yes, we will see the Cathedral, Picasso museum and shop at the Corte Ingles. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I was looking forward to the Costa del Sol not la Costa de la Lluvia(Rain)! By the way, I hate rain.

Rain? Where? In fact, there are prayers in churches for rain. Today it was clear at sunrise, overcast thru morning, and at this very moment is sunny with middle and high clouds; anyway, if it rains it wont be much, but who knows. For things to do, browse www.malagaturismo.com, or visit central tourism office at Plaza de la Marina.

Pack a good book with you. Vacations are also about relaxing, aren't they?

I am not too far from Malaga and the sun is shining brightly today in our little micro climate today. There has been very little rain here all winter.

I have heard there is some rain in the forecast, but it might not be as bad as you think. It was sunny all last winter too,but I know someone who came for 4 days and happened to pick an unusual storm that lasted all four days.

You just never know, but it you are staying a week or two you should certainly see lots of sun.

I hate rain too, but you have to have a little in life. You will find less here than most anywhere else in Europe.

I hear there is a really cool zoo nearby. Some friends from Holland were visiting during a rainy stretch and they spent a day there and raved and raved about it. My daughter has been with her class, but I have not made it yet.

Maybe you will be luckier than you imagine. The sun does not tend to stay away for long.

In fact, we need some rain here in Spain...this is the driest winter in 60 years, they say.
