The organizations on transportation of passengers in Span.

19.04.13 I ordered the AeroCity companies a transfer the Airport of Barcelona - Malgrat-de - Mar 19.06.13, and back Malgrat-de-Mar - Barcelona 03.07.13. The company accepted the demand, immediately charged money off my account, sent detel of a transfer and.... I didn't meet me at the airport. I arrived 19.06.13 at 23.59 waited for the representative of AeroCity till 01.30. With the small child at night in the unfamiliar country for 100 km. from the hotel location. At the airport of the representative of AeroCity wasn't, by phones specified in documents nobody answered. I took a taxi and went to hotel. Money which I spent for a taxi didn't enter in planned by me on rest expenses. During negotiations with the AeroCity company within 2 weeks of my stay in the country they anything didn't answer me, but back in the airport me delivered. To my claim to transportation and requirements about a compensation for expenses of a taxi of AeroCity doesn't react. I want to address to those who independently orders the transfer be careful at the appeal to the AeroCity company - it deceives clients.

You should contact your credit card and have them refund you the money for the trip that wasn't provided. Don;t know of any company that would pay a cab fare in that situation - and doubt the viability of taking them to small claims court in Spain.

I've used Aerocity in Madrid with no problem, but I did just sign up upon arrival, didn't prepay or reserve in advance. You can do that in Spain, not reserve, you can't in some other places (like Paris).

However, I had the exact same thing happen to me recently in Paris, only Bluvan company. I did have to prepay them, and they just didn't show up. I waited a long time, also, and tried to call their office but no one answered. So I wasted about an hour of my time, in addition to the payment. I knew another way to get into Paris, though, so that wasn't a problem. Now I was sort of trying them out to see how I liked them, actually, and now I know so won't use them again, but it was a low risk trip (meaning I didn't have a plane to catch).

I figured I could be out my 25 euro or whatever, but I wrote them an email with the details, told them exactly where I was (which was where I was supposed to be), and that I had waited 45 min after the agreed time, as well as trying to call, and I wanted a refund. I figured no harm in asking, but I was prepared to kiss that money goodbye.

Much to my surprise, they refunded my money almost immediately to my Paypal acct that I had used to pay. They had no explanation, though, so I don't know if they were going to claim some problem, the guy was sick, whatever or claim they were there and I didn't see them. I find that kind of odd to not explain why you didn't show up. They did say they were sorry. However, it never occurred to me to try to charge them for the other way I got into Paris and I doubt if any company would pay for that. I think that's outside the bounds of what you can expect, even if you didn't plan on having to spend it. Stuff happens on vacation, you have to be prepared for some unexpected expenses at times. Following your logic, if you had hired a private limo at 200 euro instead, you would expect them to pay for it.

So my advice to you for the future is that I suspect an airport transportation van may not show up at times, I suspect more than some other services. So be prepared with backup plans and don't book one in unusual circumstances. For example, I would never have booked one for midnight with a small child, that just sounds too risky. Even I, in the middle of the day in Paris at ORY didn't wait around 1:30 for a van, that is too long.

It seems like all you are complaining about is the taxi fare, and I don't think that is reasonable to request, so I'd forget it.
