the Italian Riviera by train and bus and boat

Jump to last reply

I am thinking of a carless trip around the Nice area and then exploring the Italian coast and inland towns by public transportation . We enjoyed the bus service around Nice last year to outlying villages and felt comfortable of using the trains and busses but I wonder how hard it will be touring Italy without a car. I don't like the driving to inland towns and getting around crowded towns and cities like Genoa etc.

any thoughts appreciated!!
