I thought it would be appropriate to ask what your favorite food & wine tours are and why. We've had several customers asking about them for their summer vacations and I personally think they're a fantastic idea! It would be great if we could put together a formal list for all of the Fodor's members to contribute to and get ideas from.
I'll start it off with my favorite. I am a huge fan of The Full Menu cooking class from La Tavola Marche! The ingredients are so fresh (all harvested from a live & working farm), and you really get to dabble in a bit of everything. It's also a great class for those staying in Italy for a while and wanting to host a dinner for their travel companions or new friends they've made on their trips. You can learn a full course meal in one class and impress family and friends when you return from your trip as well!
I'd love to hear some other favorites from the members here as I've seen them talked about quite often, but a dedicated list would be great!

I did a trip this past January-March where I traveled Europe and took different cooking classes in quite a few different places. Here is the link to my blog if you'd like to pull cooking classes from there: www.culinaryhopscotch.blogspot.com. I tried to give the contact information for each class that I took.
This is a great idea because I had to unearth all of this information on my own. Thank God for Google!
