Is there a "special" place that you are "dreaming" to go, but still didn't because you go to other (maybe more famous or biger) places instead??
I have have such a place! it is Sark! I have read a lot about this little, idyllic isle, and I have seen beautiful web pages, I HAVE to go there some time soon! next year we are going to Spain, but maybe after that trip..., we should start planing for Sark, now I have a question for somebody who knows....Guernsey sounds lovely too!...should we stay there, and just go to Sark for a day trip, o 2 days trip...?
I would love to hear of somebody else's special place (small, not so famous as big cities)

Topping for Adela because the channel islands have always intrigued me too.
Yes, Sark is charming and so is Herm another small Channel Island. Guernsey would be a good place to stay. Personally I prefer it to Jersey which is a lot more touristy.
If you like small Islands then the Scillies would suit you. The biggest island, St. Marys doubles its police force in the summer from one to two officers.
Thank You Silvia! now I have another place to plan to visit,... Herm! I just look at the web page, and it looks like a beautiful place too! the same with the Scillies, but with Herm it coul be like a day or two visit from staying at Guernsey. Any idea which season is the best to visit those isles? Thanks!
After Rome and Egypt, no doubt: The treasures of Mesipotamia (Iraq, Jordan) and Israel. I really am looking forward to visiting the magnificant places as soon as politic hindrances are gone. But that may not be in my lifetime, or????

I am dreaming to go, some time in the future , to the beautiful island of Patmos, Greece! my parents went there, a few years ago, and always talk about what a beautiful and peaceful place it is!!
