TGV Paris-Avignon PREMs in July

Jump to last reply

We have usually bought TGV tickets 3 months ahead of the travel date to avail of the discounted PREMs rates.

In this instance we are travelling Paris - Avignon on Saturday 4th July but no PREMs have come up yet - there are some on Thursday 2nd but none beyond that date. I have a dilemma as we are committed to travelling on the 4th so I don't want to miss tickets but I also don't want to buy at full price if PREMs are about to appear.

Could this have something to do with French summer holidays? I thought the following week was the start of the school holidays and the start of the summer exodus but maybe it is earlier and discounts won't be available at all.

Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks, Greg
