Taxis to the Blue Lagoon form the cruise ship

Has anyone ever taken a cab to the Blue Lagoon from the cruise ship? If so how much did they charge you? Were cabs available at the pier when you got off the ship?We want to visit the Blue Lagoon when we dock which is supposed to be at 3:00pm and would like to take a cab there. Or we could arrange for a tour company to meet us. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we should do?
