Taxi from Ceske Budejovice to Cesky Krumlov

I saw in a July 2007 posting from SAnParis that it was possible to take the train from Prague to Ceske Budejovice and then take a taxi on to Cesky Krumlov. How easy is this to accomplish, how long of a trip, and approximate cost?

(I hesitate to take the more convenient direct bus to CK because I read that the bus has no bathroom opportunities - feeble bladder issues that are best ignored here....)

Why not just take the train to Cesky Krumlov from CB? And then take a taxi from the CK train station to your hotel.

That was the original plan, until I found the posting that mentioned taking a taxi. I didn't know if that would save time, because it looks like a 5-hour trip from Prague to CK, but a 3-1/2-hour trip to CB.

If at all possible I would highly recommend an overnight at CK. During the day it is milling with tourists but in the evenings and early mornings much more peaceful - a completely different atmosphere.

I chose to stay in CB instead. There's another castle you can visit nearby, and CB has a large central square surrounded by pretty, historic buildings.
