Tasting/Culinary tour of Rome?
Does anyone have a culinary tour of Rome that they recommend? There are a million of them out there, and no recent comments on the board.

All I can say is that I am envious, I would love to be going to Rome right now. The culinary tour in Rome I did last year is one of my all-time tours anywhere! Eating Italy Food Tours, http://www.eatingitalyfoodtours.com is just fabulous.
They take you into this totally Roman neighborhood to enjoy so many delicious tastings (at least 8) and along the way you meet all these old fashioned Italian folks who have been preparing this food forever. Plus the stories are wonderful. Even though I went principally for the food, this tour also weaves in a lot of historical and cultural sites and stories that just made the whole experience even more complete. They have some of the best reviews on Trip Advisor (including mine!) so have a look.

Great timing! I was about to give up and decide on my own. Now tho I have to choose between this one and http://www.foodtoursofrome.com/ Too bad I can't do both!! (hmmm one for lunch and one for dinner... guess not lol)
And so nice to meet another foodie. Let me know if you're ever in NorCal!
And don't be too jealous, it has taken me over 25 years to get back there! But yes, I can't wait! Not going to do too much museum stuff, just walk and eat and sit and drink coffee (I know I should go to a bar, but I don't LIKE to gulp coffee at a bar lol) And walk WHILE eating (gelato)...

Besides that I have also see her on 2 maybe 3? History Channel-type documentries.
I have done at least 15+ tours with ScalaReale/Context tours and 2 of them were historical tours with Katie.
And also including other Italian cities, London, Paris, Athens guides she is by far the best tourguide I have ever encounted.
I have not been to their website in quite a while but I recall that Context Rome also had some culinary tours available. Regards, Walter
