Taormina Hotels - can't decide

Jump to last reply

We are a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters, visiting Taormina, Sicily next July. I have researched and contacted several hotels, and narrowed it down to two - VILLA BELVEDERE or VILLA ANGELA. Both are able to accommodate us comfortably and seem very lovely.

The pool and pool area are very important to us. This time in Taormina is meant to be "the relaxing part" of our European vacation. We are looking forward to lounge chairs, drinks at the pool and outstanding views.

Location is not as important as the resort itself. Pretty grounds, open areas and cleanliness are tops. I know Belvedere is closer to the town and Angela is up in the hills. I honestly do not know how important this will be to us once we are there.

Restaurant is fairly important, at least for breakfast, and we like a nice bar or lounge area to have a nightcap.

Any thoughts?
