Switzerland with kids

Jump to last reply

I will be traveling to Switzerland with my five kids (13, 12, 9, 7, &1) in february for 4 nights and would like to take them skiing. We will be arriving and departing through Zurich. I am trying to figure out the best ski area for families. The kids are all basically beginners so I am looking for an area with a good ski school ( we would need english speaking) and good learning areas and easy trails. I would love if there were other interesting activities or sights to see as well. I was in Switzerland once almost 30 years ago and remember that we took a beautiful train ride to the skiing. Would it be better to rent a car with the kids and all the luggage? If you are suggesting a ski location might you also reccommend the best way to get there from zurich. Also, would love a suggestion for things to do for our one day in Zurich. Thanks so much,
