Switzerland travel plan advise needed (Dec 2015)
My husband and I will be spending our time in Switzerland from 24th to 28th of December 2015.
We would like to hear your opinion regarding whether our plan is suitable. We worried that we might be too exhausted switching from one city to another.
24 Chamonix -> Montreux (Overnight at Montreux)
25 Montreux -> Wengen (Overnight at Wengen)
26 Wengen (Overnight at Wengen)
27 Wengen -> Lucerne (Overnight at Lucerne)
28 Lucerne -> Munich

Sallyt - Funny, we went from Munich to Lucerne. We drove and spent two overnights in between. One in Fussen, Germany and the next in Wasserauren, Switzeralnd.
How are you going from Lucerne to Munich in one day?

Sallyt: you sign up to day and start calling people trolls? Your second post is weird.
Never mind - my question is have you booked your hotels already? If not, most places would require more than one night over the Christmas holidays. And if they are at all decent are probably booked up already.

Actually, you can still find Montreux hotels with rooms available for one night. So finding a room there should not be a problem, but you should still book ASAP (in case you haven't already). The same holds true for Lucerne. And yes, that does include "decent" hotels.
However, only a few hotels in Wengen (and Grindelwald) still have rooms available for your dates. Again, you need to book now if you haven't done so already. If you can't get a room at a place you like in either of those two villages, Interlaken has a good variety of hotels with vacancies.
