Switzerland - Lucerne & 2 nights

Jump to last reply

Hi, I'll be arriving with my husband and 2 children (5 years old and 5 months old) into Zurich from Singapore on Friday 24 April and we have 2 nights free before heading up to Basel for work from Sunday 26 April evening.

I was hoping to:

- as we are arriving off a 14 hour flight from Singapore, I was thinking the following schedule might work:

1st day Friday - Catch the train to Lucerne, drop bags at hotel, wander around town and do a boat cruise (recommendations for 3/4 star hotel close to transport and boat cruise pls)

2nd day - travel up to Mount Titlis - would this take a full day? Travel to Wengen/Lauterbrunnen etc in the afternoon and look around some of the picturesque towns - Stay at Lauterbrunnen overnight

3rd and final day - travel up to Jungfraujoch if the weather is okay then catch the train back to Basel

Any thoughts on accommodation, other things to do - we're not into hiking due to having 2 young children with us but keen on small walks or scenery, itinerary, travel card etc?

Many thanks
