If you mean"Rigi" and not "Regi" then you can take the boat at Luzern and it leaves you off at Rigi and you can take a cable car up to the top.

OH, yes, Swiss Pass covers all trains and boats. 1/2 off mountain rides.

You need to check the schedule for lake steamers and mountain cog wheel trains or cable cars. November is low season and typically when things are closed down for repairs for the upcoming ski season.

Don;t go without checking out details online.

Yes as kenav says Swiss Passes pass in full on all three means of access to Rigi Kulm - the summit station.

1- train to Arth-Goldau and take the mountain train from there

2- boat to Weggis and take the aerial cableway up there

3- boat to Vitznau and take the mountain train - Rigi Bahn I believe up there.

*not positive cableway is 100% covered or jsut half off - the trains are covered for sure 100%.

Boats may not be running frequent schedules but will be running in November and taking a boat there to me is the best way - you may want to return via Arth-Goldau as it is probably faster than other ways.

For lots of great stuff on Swiss Pass and answers to questions like this I always spotlight these IMO fantastic sites - www.swisstravelsystem.com; http://www.budgeteuropetravel.com/id3.html and www.ricksteves.com.

As for passes you probably know of the 2 for 1 special for travel thru the end of November on 4-day Swiss flexi and consecutive day passes - not on any other lengths however. And check pass prices both in dollars if in North America and in Swiss francs for buying in Switzerland as IME of checking prices past several years before buying often the same pass here has been significantly cheaper than there - but not always the case so compare and also figure in any 3% or so your credit card may charge for foreign transactions, etc.

Thanks your reply
my first choice is take a train to go rigi,
second choice is take a boat to Weggis and take the aerial cableway up there, but this choice i worry we dont have enough time for sightseeing. thanks

wel just take the fastest route there and buy a one-way ticket via Arth-Goldau and then if you have time take the train down to Vitznau or cableway to Weggis and hop the boat back to Lucerne - a boat ride on Lake Lucerne to me is as nice as going to Rigi - both are great. And the train down the lake is a bit more adventuresome than the train over to Arth-Goldau IME.
