Hi, I am very confused about which ticket to buy.
We are a family of 2 adults and 4 children (8, 7, 5, and 1 years old).
On Sunday, we want to take the train from Zurich Airport to Lucerne.
On Monday, we want to do the "Golden Round Trip" from Lucerne to Mt. Pilatus.
On Tuesday, we need to take the train back from Lucerne to Zurich Airport.
I am very confused about which passes/cards I need for me and my family.
Would a Tell-Pass (180 CHF each) for each adult and a Swiss Family Card (free) be enough to cover Sunday and Monday completely for all of us? And then I would just have to pay for 2 half-price tickets for Tuesday (and the kids would travel free)?
Do my two older kids also need an SBB Junior Card (30 CHF each)? Do they also need their own child Tell-Passes (90 CHF each)?
Am I better off just buying all tickets individually without any of these passes/cards?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Adam
