Swiss train deals

Jump to last reply

We will be headed to Switzerland in May and I'm trying to decipher the train offers.
Our itinerary takes us from France (rather leisurely) then picks up the pace in Switzerland: to Bern (1 night) , then Lauterbrunnen (2 nights) and Lucerne (2 nights) then on to Zurich (2 nights). We have 7 nights and hope to also day trip in Lucerne and take the Jungfrau railway.

Is a pass essential and what is the best deal? Given that my itinerary is rather set, is one deal better than another? It seems all very expensive. I appreciate your expertise.
Thanks,
Annealex
