Swiss Map for driving

Hi

I would like a suggestion for a road map to use while driving in Switzerland. Most of our driving will be from Interlaken to Ascona, but there may be other short trips.

I am very aware of the wonderful trains and public transportation available. I just need a good road map.

Thank you for any suggestions.

We use Michelin maps for almost everywhere - just be sure to get one with enough detail.

I wonder what people think the best ratio is for driving maps. Any preferences?

I suspect that the country map of Switzerland would be sufficient, but Michelin also has regional maps:

The Michelin Switzerland National Map has a scale of 1:400K, the Michelin Switzerland Regional Maps have 1:200K, so they have much more details.

I always found ourselves very comfortable with the 1:200K maps, because you find every street on them, even the smaller maps, sights and attractions are marked on the map, you have topography and scenic roads marked by a green stripe.

You may need two of them - Southwest and Southeast, but I always found that good maps are the best investments in travelling.
