Sweden, Norway and Denmark in October

Jump to last reply

We are a couple in early forties. We are planning a 2 week tour to Sweden, Norway and Denmark from middle of October.
We are interested in history . We are not much of a foodie. People watching and to be able to soak into the local culture are the essential highs for our trips.

We would be using public transport.

Have collected information over internet and chalked the following itinerary in random order:
4N Stockholm
1N Gothenburg
4N Conducted Winter tour starting from Tromso and ending at Kirkenes
4N Copenhagen

Stockholm itinerary will cover day trips to Uppsala, Archipelago tour and other local places of interest.
We have flexibility to add one more night.
Our queries are:

Is the above itinerary workable with regard to weather and transportation.
We understand that the days are short but we got encouragement by reading through a lot of reports of other travellers.

If it is workable then what should be the order in which it is done.

Stockholm, Copenhagen and Northern Lights tour are must for us.
We had intentionally left out Oslo, Bergen, Flam, Lofoten, for another tour.

Advice us.
Thanks
