Sunday Times Travel Magazine: Beach Hotels

Jump to last reply

The Sunday Travel Magazine has some excellent recommendations, this month, on Beach Hotels in Europe for less than £199.
50 in total are listed and so the list I produce very much reflects the ones that I am interested in.
For instance, Hotel Relais Blu Belvedere, Amalfi , which was on the list (£160 per double) was featured in ‘The Trip (Italy): Series 2’ – this wonderful series (now on DVD) featured Steve Coogan (British actor and comedian) and Rob Brydon (British actor and comedian)and looked divine.
Others that caught my eye:-
• Leto, Mykonos (£62 for B and B);
• Emelisse Art Hotel, Kefalonia -ST writes its a romantic setting(£182 for B and B);
• Melian Boutique Hotel & Spa (£89 for B and B) – ST suggests some of the best beaches in Greece are a short drive away;
• Grand Hotel Parco Dei Principi, Sorrento (£142 for B and B);
• Neptuno Hotel, Valencia (£102 for B and B);
• Hotel De Londres Y De Inglaterra, San Sebastian (£106 Room only);
• Geko Beach Club, Formentera (£160 for B and B);
• Hotel La Perouse, Nice (£132 for B and B);
• Grand Relais Denuraghi, Sardinia (£138 for B and B);
• Hotel Illa D’or, Majorca (£132 for B and B).
Can anyone vouch for them or suggest some other great beach hotels that they have stayed at?
