Summer in Europe
We head off to Europe 29th June for some fun times in Europe.
We have 1 night stop over in Hong Kong as we are flying from Perth Western Australia.
Then we head to London for a few days then onto Lisbon. Getting from Lisbon to Greek Islands is hard so we had to go back to UK for 1 night.
Then we are spending time in Santorini-Paros-Mykonos and onto Athens. Is it better to get Ferry Rides before we leave or as we arrive on Santorini. I have heard that the ferry companies can charge there schedules. There will be 2 Adults and 1 (14) year old.
In Athens we have a few days to do all touristy things and then we head to Paris for the last stage of the Tour De France.
On way home we have a few days in Hong Kong to see the sites and then back to Perth.
What does everyone think of this timetable.
Most places we have 4 nights is tis enough.

Geographically it would make more sense to me to fly to Greece first, then to Portugal, France and finally to the UK before you leave for home.
I take it you haven't booked any flights yet, even though you have not much time left ?

It seems a complicated itinerary to me, but perhaps you've found a good deal for the Perth > Hong Kong > London connection. You may have a good reason for Lisbon, but it would make life easier for you to choose another destination like Rome instead, which has good airline connections with the UK and Greece.

Regarding ferry tickets, I agree with bilboburgler to buy them once you get to Greece.
" I have heard that the ferry companies can charge there schedules."
Ferry companies change their schedules from year, but once the season begins they are rarely altered. Of course unforeseen circumstances, e.g. weather and mechanical problems sometimes force changes, but these are rare.

We have chosen the route as we have never been to Hong Kong and we got a great deal with Cathay Pacific.
London we have been there before but daughter wanted to go back so we are spending 3 days there.
Lisbon we have read a lot of good reviews so we thought why not.
Greek Islands well 1 of the things you have to do before you get to old.
Athens will be awesome hopefully see a lot of the sites and all the history.
Paris 3rd time there but this time for the Final Stage of the Tour De France.

You are never too old for the Greek Islands. Did you book an easyJet flight from London direct to Santorini? That is a very popular route for British island-hoppers.
Take the Blue Star ferry from Santorini to Paros — it is never full on that leg, because it picks up more passengers at other islands on the way back to Piraeus. Buy your tickets to Paros on Santorini. While on Paros recommend an Antiparos round-island boat trip, e.g.: http://captainbenantiparos.com
There are several daily ferries from Paros to Mykonos, including another large Blue Star leaving late in the afternoon. If you want to leave earlier there are also catamarans, but the small passenger-only versions are cramped and uncomfortable in rough seas. Recommend buying your tickets to Mykonos as soon as you get to Paros.
