I had previously asked for some suggestions for my trip to Germany. Got quite a number of options like Bad Wimpfen, Hann, Quedlinburg.
I bumped upon this source about Stuttgart: http://on.fb.me/UkcQ84 and it has got me keener to go to this place. Any suggestions regarding Stuttgart? Thanks

I read your previous thread and I think Aramis made a good point about Stuttgart--it's one of Germany's largest cities, so I'm not sure why you'd want to include it if your goal is to visit "smaller" towns. If you're thinking of visiting a big city like Stuttgart, you may as well visit a larger (and more vibrant) city like Berlin.
So, yes, there are some interesting buildings in Stuttgart, but there's a WHOLE lot more interesting buildings and other attractions in Berlin. I lived in both cities for several years and I'd go back to Berlin in a heartbeat, but probably not Stuttgart.
A cutish smaller town just south of Stuttgart is Tuebingen, a sweet university town that could make a good base for an area with a lot of offer - rather than basing in Uber big city Stuttgart - day trip into Stuttgart for the astounding Bauhaus architecture, Merecedes-Benza factory tour and acclaimed modern art museum, etc.
