I'm going to Cyprus for 4 days in April and would appreciate itinerary suggestions - What area should I stay to get the most out of Cyprus? Prefer a good mix of culture and relaxation and am not opposed to staying off the beaten path.
Any "must see/do" suggestions welcome!
Thanks.

Pafos. And from there to the Troodos mountains, which are beautiful in spring. If you like little hikes you will enjoy the nature and spring flowers in the mountains.
I agree that Paphos is the answer, and you'd be better with a traditional hotel in the old town than one on the tourist fringe along the coast. Do go into the Troodos and visit the area round Polis as well. Polis would be a good alternative to Paphos.
