Suggestions for a Beach stop Between Granada and Seville?

Jump to last reply

Hello all - Revising my questions based on recommendation that Nerja might not be ideal for swimming with the sewage situation.

We will be travelling from Granada to Seville in mid-June and would like to add 2 nights in a beach town. I will be with my mom (60), and daughter (15). Our priority for this section of our trip is relaxing at the beach. So, we would want a hotel as close to the beach as we can get for under $250. We don't really care about hotel amenities as much, just clean and decent to sleep in with a good location.

Does anyone have suggestions for where to base ourselves for this leg of the trip? Nerja looked good to me as far as size, activities, restaurants, etc, but I suspect we can find similar towns without the sewage issue. I'm going to start re-researching this part of the trip tonight, but any personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
