Stresa to Cinque Terre by Car- Where to stop for two nights ?

Jump to last reply

We would greatly appreciate suggestions on where to stop for two nights after travelling around the Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta Regions.

Our initial thoughts were that we should head for the north western part of Tuscany that we have not seen before. Towns near Carrara or Lucca maybe ?

An agritourismo or proximity to a good wine sub-region would be good.

After Cinque Terre we will drive to Modena, drop the car off and hop on a train to Milan.

Thank you
