Stockholm nightlife in early September...any perspectives?

Hello, I am planning around a week through Copenhagen and Stockholm, and as I have been to Copenhagen before, I wanted some insight on what Stockholm was like at night. I will be traveling with my boyfriend and cousin and we are 26, 26, and 28 respectively, so we are definitely looking to go out to a couple of bars, a mix of local places and maybe a club or 2. How does Stockholm compare to Copenhagen? Is there much going on during the early part of the week (Monday-Wednesday)? We are trying to plan our itinerary to be able to accommodate going out in both cities!
