Stockholm (ARN) airport transportation to Ship Port

Can anyone tell me the options and associated costs with getting to / from the Stockholm (ARN) airport to the Ship Port (Royal Carribean)?

Hi,

We need more detailed information from you since there are several cruise ports in Stockholm. What is the name of the ship and what date are you travelling on?

Generally, for 2 or more people travelling together, a taxi will be the best option unless your ship doesn't use the cruiseport at Nynäshamn which is nearly 100 kms south of Arlanda airport.

Hi,

On Royal Carribean web site they give information about the cruise port used in Stockholm and it is the Freeport Cruise Terminal. In order to be absolutely sure about this I recommend that you double check this information with them.

As said in previous post, a taxi is the easiest option. There are many taxi companies to choose from with fixed prices from the airport to any destionation within Stockholm City limits (the Freeport qualifies for this rule) ranging from approx 520 SEK. Make sure to use a reliable taxi company such as Taxi Stockholm, Taxi Kurir, Taxi 020 or Sverige Taxi.

By public transport you can take the Arlanda Express Airport train (travel time so minutes) or the airport coach (travel time 45 - 60 minutes depending on the traffic).
Arlanda Express Train link: http://arlandaexpress.com/default.as...edcookie=clear
Airport bus link: http://www.flygbussarna.se/?lang=EN

They will both dropp you off at the Stockholm Central railway station. From there you can get on a #1 bus (leaving from Kungsgatan outside the railway station) to the Freeport cruise terminal. You need to buy your bus ticket before getting on the bus. Tickets can be bought inside the railway satation. Look for Pressbyrån shops. The ticket will be 44 SEK full price, 28 SEK for senior citizens.

There are no direct connections from the airport to the cruise port. You must change at the railway station.

Travel time on the Arlanda Express train is of course 20 minutes, not so minutes.

Thank you for the information I am thinking the taxi will be the fastest and the easiest. It's Sat 7/7 departure on Royal Carribean Vision of the Seas. So we need a taxi on Sat 7/7 from the airport to the doc - there are potentially 5 of us that could go as a group if that would help.
Sat 7/14 only two of us back to the airport - I just wanted a point of reference for cost because I know cruise lines usually offer transportation as well.

Vision of the Seas is scheduled to depart Frihamnen berth F638 at 17:00 July 7 to Helsinki and arrive Frihamnen berth F638 at 07:00 July 14 from Visby.

A regular taxi will seat 4 people, try to get a mini bus taxi as this will be cheaper than two regular taxis. Taxis can be prebooked on the taxi companies' web sites. This could be a good idea if you need a mini bus taxi seating 5 people.
