St. Petersburg and ???

Jump to last reply

I am planning on a few days in St. Petersburg in early fall and want to combine it with one other nearby city. A couple of years ago I did Berlin and Budapest which were a good combination. So where do I go with St. Petersburg?

I'm not really looking for architecture, art museums or nightlife. I'd like a place where I can see WWII, Communist and Jewish History, some good food, reasonable prices and friendly people, and a place from which I can easily reach St. Petersburg.

Helsinki
Riga
Tallinn
Vilnius
Warsaw
Kiev

Any others?
