Does anyone know where this archway is.
"There are two ways to reach St. Peter in Chains. The first, through a dark archway on Via Cavour, only has a few steps."

I think you are quoting my response to one of Chatnoir's posts on churches in Rome. The archway is on the south side of Via Cavour between Via degli Annibaldi and Largo V. Venosta. "Few" steps is relative--fewer in comparison to the long steep hike and then stairs on the Via degli Annibaldi approach. There are still some steep steps through that archway but it' a more direct route.
I was there last Easter and will be there this Easter. I agree with Grinisa 100%. Have a Great Trip!!! Mike
Thanks the less steps the better. Marge
