Splitting 9/10 nights

Jump to last reply

We're currently deciding how to split our 9 or 10 nights in Italy this June. Options are below - we will have 10 nights but I'm assuming we'll want to be near the airport for a morning flight out and am kind of holding that 10th night for an airport-convenient spot in Rome (wouldn't be concerned about getting to Rome early for sightseeing).

Option A:
2 nights in Venice
7 nights in Tuscany (apartment rental at Agroturismo)
1 night in Rome (for departure)

Option B:
3 nights in Venice
4 nights in Tuscany
2 nights in Positano
1 night in Rome (for departure)

Any opinions or insight are helpful...we'd really love to see Positano and the coastal area in general, but unsure if its worth the hassle of bouncing around. Wondering if visiting the CT during a week-long stay in Tuscany would be a suitable replacement for the Amalfi coast.

In any case we're both 27,seeking scenery, food, wine and long walks on the beach (maybe) if that helps. Thanks!!
