Spending a day around Berchtesgaden, hiking and walking.

Jump to last reply

I would be staying in Salzburg ,and would like to spend a day around Berchtesgaden.

Let me know if this is possible:

Try to reach by 8-9 am. Go to Jennerbahn, come back by 12. Go for the boat ride, till the last stop, walk upto Obersee and come back. Go to Ramsau and come back. Leave by the 6.15 PM bus back to Salzburg. Or do I need to cut something here

And day ticket cover all the buses, like the bus upto Jennerbahn or Ramsau?

And is there a Jennerbahn + Boat ride ticket, how much does it cost?

If I decide to split this into 2 days, are there any more small hikes I could do around?

And any tips for going to this village?

Where is the Watzmann best viewed from?
