Special Restaurant in Rothenberg?
We're celebrating a special occasion in Rothenberg at the end of May and are wondering if there is any special restaurant recent travelers could recommend. There will be 4 of us travelling together.
Thanks!

HImom,
Here's a place we enjoyed very much - not what you'd call fancy, but atmospheric, and good food.

Perhaps my experience in the Eisenhut was different, but we had a room, dinner two nights, and a couple of tours for a special price.
It wasn't cheap by any means, but I was absolutely not impressed with any of it---the room they gave us, the meals, the service, the attitude of the front desk.
I had always wanted to stay at the Eisenhut, and I was very disappointed.
I've stayed at the Hotel Gasthof Glocke a couple of times, and I thought their restaurant was quite good.

Restaurant Reichskuchenmeister ♥♥♥, a hundred or so meters away from Marktplatz, was one of the best culinary experiences that we had on our German trip.
The food was extraordinary. We tried a garlic bruschetta, a delicious garlic soup, an excellent pike in a garlic sauce and a very good mixed grill. Our damage: €70, including a bottle of wine.
Enjoy!

Hell was hell in my opinion... I went for dinner before the Night Watchman's tour. Food was ok, waitress asked if I wanted dessert. I told her I was going on the tour and didn't have enough time. She said I had plenty of time and the tour started outside their door. Well, I waited and waited for my dessert. It finally arrived and I gulped a few bites down. And ran to the main square where the tour begins. The tour ends in front of Hell! Never will go to that restaurant again.
The restaurant at Romantik Hotel Markusturm is very nice and the food was very good. Can't find a menu on their website though. Maybe if you email them, they can email a menu. Here's a link to Trip Advisor reviews:
