Special birthday restaurants in Paris?

Hi, my twin and I will be pre-celebrating our milestone birthday in Paris. What would be our best possibilities if our budget is up to 500 euros per person for two dinners?

Wow! With that budget you can go to the top restaurants.

Look at the web sites for Les Ambassadeurs, L'Arpège, Guy Savoy, the Tour d'Argent (not the best of the best food, but great views), Taillevent, Lasserre (the roof is rolled back on non-rainy nights), Le Grand Véfour, and Le Train Bleu (for elegant atmosphere). Taillevent has probably the best wine cellar, if that appeals.

Have a great time! I'm sure you will get many other recommendations.

Ha, you be filthy rich,, thats my food budget for a 10 day visit. lol ( just bugging you ,,I am just envious)

Before I ate at Le Tour Argent, I would eat at Les Ombres which has an amzing VIEW of the Eiffel Tower.. but then with your budget I would look at some Michelin starred places.

The only restaurant I have eaten at on Underhills list is Le Train Bleu, and sorry the food did not it blow me away but the decor most definately did. I have eaten at a Guy Savoy satellite resto once , Le Bouquinistes and loved it but its not fancy enough for a meal as special as you could afford. I had lunch there for 75 euros and really enjoyed it though.

I would add Le Pre Catalan to Underhill's list. It is a taxi ride into Bois de Boulogne but well worth the short trip!

For an unforgettable evening, Taillevent.
