Spain's Sierra Nevada and Mulhacen

Jump to last reply

I'm planning to base myself in the Sierra Nevada near Granada for 8 days over Easter, either basing myself in one place and doing day walks, or doing some multi day walks using the refugios, or a combination of both. Anyone out there with experience in the region who could recommend the top hikes, and places to stay?

Also, anyone have experience of climbing Mulhacen? I understand it's not technical, but quite high, but will have plenty of snow at that time of year. I have some experience on snow and ice and would be keen to know if guided climbs are an option?
