Spain student visa/ travel questions

Jump to last reply

Hello! Next fall i am going to be studying abroad in Barcelona for a semester and I have a couple visa questions.

My program in spain is from Sept. 16- December 18th
my cousins are getting married in Florence, Italy September 3rd
and I am planning on taking a group trip around europe from December 24- January 16th which is supposed to start and end in London.

If I get a student visa will I be covered for all of this travel? Will I be able to go to italy for the 1-1.5 weeks before my program starts and stay around the Schengen countries after because it won't be over 180 days?

Also I understand that London would be leaving the schengen so if i had to I could meet my group in Paris instead of London so I don't have to leave the schengen until I plan to exit for good, thank you for any information!
