Spain in September--Any special reasons not to?

Jump to last reply

My wife and I, in our 60s and experienced travelers, are contemplating spending 2-3 weeks touring Spain, esp Andalusia, perhaps this fall. Are there particular issues that suggest September is either a good or bad time to go? We think the summer heat might be less by then, and perhaps summer vacation travel might be less so crowds might be less too?

What other factors should we not overlook?
