Spain for 10 nights

Hi

Me n my female friend are planning trip to Spain in August end. We are from India

Please suggest us the itinerary for 10 nights 11 days, we ll enter and exit through Madrid

We need to cover costa brava, Pamplona-Tomatina festival, Ibiza and andulacia part for its white villages and beach side.

We will be on backpack trip, so budget suggestions would be welcomed

Please suggest places in andulacia and itinerary to cover and when to cover what place

Thanks
Jonnie

You have this marked a trip report - which it is not. Click on the abuse above and ask to have it removed.

I'm sorry - but 10 nights is 9 days - not 11. You need 2 nights in a city to have one full day there.

Also you are trying to reach 6 far flung places in that very limited time - so travel will eat up a lot of those few days.

If I were you I would focus on either Madrid/Barcelona or Madrid/Ibiza - if you really want to spend a lot of time just partying.

OR - you could spend you time in Andalucia. Be aware it s very hot there in August - highs of around 100 and temps up to 120 inland, although the shore will be cooler. This is by far IMHO the most fascinating part of Spain due to it's unique moorish heritage - if that interests you. We have been twice - once 10 days and once 12 days and have by no means seen everything we want to. But we go no later than April to avoid the worst of the heat.

Sorry - but you really need to focus your trip when you have limited yourself to so few days.

Budget tips:

Do as the locals and have your main meal at lunch-time (goes for all of Spain). Then most neighbourhood restaurants serve a bargain three course lunch Menu del Dia (Today's menu) with drinks included for some 8-14€. Outside the most beaten tracks, you'll find plenty of places closer to 8€ than 14€. Normally you can choose from at least three starters and three mains plus a couple of deserts. http://www.nakedmadrid.com/2015/10/2...dia-in-madrid/

In Madrid, you can have the hearty local speciality Bocadillo de Calamares (or a whole range of other fillings)for less than 3€ for both lunch and dinner. Several places in and around central and majestic Plaza Mayor. http://www.traveler.es/viajes/placer...excelente/5650
Very popular with locals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JnKI3_zECs

Several bars/restaurants serve a free tapa with every glass of whatever in the bar area. http://madridnofilter.com/11-great-b...pas-in-madrid/
