Spain: Andalusia itinerary advice
Hello all,
My wife and I are going to Spain for 10 days in early June, and here’s what we were planning on going. Any suggestions or feedback, along with restaurant/hotel recommendations ($150-$200/night, with pool would be ideal ) would be most welcome.
Saturday – Arrive in Granada in the evening. Relax, stroll around town
Sunday – Explore the town, maybe go for an Olive oil tour
Monday – Alhambra, morning entry so go at 9:30ish, palace at 11:30. Take late afternoon bus to Cordoba. Spend the night in Cordoba
Tuesday – Cordoba Mesquita, explore town. Evening train to Seville
Wed/Thurs – Explore Seville
Friday – train to Madrid after lunch
Sat/Sun – Madrid
Monday afternoon – fly out of Madrid

Cordoba can be easily done as a daytrip from Seville or Granada. So I don't think you should spend a night there, unless you like changing hotels each night.
2 days is a bit short for Madrid. Is it possible you could add a day there?
Or maybe you should focus on Andalusia this time. I would spend the remaining days in Seville and do daytrips from there.

Have you made your reservations for the Alhambra already? The entrance times fill up very fast. I think I waited until a month before my trip, and I couldn't get a daytime entry.
I agree with Kodak about focusing on Andalusia on this trip.There's a lot to see in Madrid, especially if you visit art museums.

Three nights in Sevilla and 2 in Granada are a minimum so you're doing good there. Cordoba is smaller with a lot less going on than Sevilla, Granada, and Madrid. However many people love it so you can't go wrong with spending two nights there or adding a night to Sevilla and Madrid and visiting Cordoba as a daytrip from Sevilla. In any case your trip looks like a good one.

Should be a great trip!
If possible, I strongly recommend an evening visit to the Nasrid Palace of Granada's Alhambra. I was glad that my evening visit was AFtER my daytime visit to the Alhambra, but the ordering is a nicety. Tickets for the evening slots are extremely limited, so if you are interested in this magical experience, book as soon as you can!
I'm sure you realize that your time in each location is very limited. Maybe that's intentional? Personally, if I were to short-change any, I would short-change the one easiest to reach on a future trip, which (at least now) would be Madrid. Just an idea, and one that I offer only in the context of noting that I LOVED Madrid!
While I agree with KodakMoment that Cordoba CAN be easily seen as a day trip, I thought it well worth 2 full nights / 2 full (and VERY busy) days -- depends on what YOU want to see and experience!

Thanks all - appreciate the inputs. Will extend the trip by a day to get more time in Madrid, and we will book the tickets for the Alhambra as soon as we finalize our dates - hopefully sometime in the next couple of weeks.

A good way of seeing the city in a practical and also nice way is by bike. In June it'll be quite hot in Andalusia so maybe it's better to do a bike tour to have more afterwards to relax a bit more and enjoy some terraces like the real andalucians do. I did tours in Sevilla en Cordoba with a guide, might be worth checking out if you like discovering a city by bike http://bit.ly/2345DNi
