Spain and Morocco in 2 weeks

I plan on traveling to Spain and Morocco for 2 weeks. I want to spend one weekend Spain. I would like to go to Barcelona and Madrid first. How would I go about traveling between Spain and Morocco. By train or fly? Where in Morocco shall I go for the 2nd week?

You can fly from Barcelona to Marrakech/ Casablanca with Vueling or from Madrid to Rabat or Marrakech with Ryanair. If you have a week in Morocco, try to do Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains and the desert.

Yes fly, don't get into the whole ferry to Casablanca thing. Marrahech is wonderful, it is arab-light with a multi-lingual society, where else do even the goat herds speak their own language and great french?

Do not take the ferry from Barcelona (used to be Ceuta) to Tangiers. Tangiers is not a town you want to spend any time in. Yes, fly to Morocco---the three towns that I recommend are Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech with Marrakech being the most interesting to me. Morocco is a fabulous place to visit. I lived in Rabat for 6 months and really enjoyed that city. Have fun!
