Southern Spain - Olive Oil & Cheese Farms
Any suggestions for Olive Oil and Cheese Farms close to Ronda, Seville, Cordoba or Marbella? We will have a car and want to visit a farm or winery as we drive around Southern Spain. We will have our own car.

You'll most likely need to make reservations to visit bodegas in the area. Here are some you can check:
www.bodegasmalagavirgen.com
www.quitapenas.es
www.antiguacasadeguardia.net
www.gomara.com
For information on cheese, check: www.andalucia.com/gastronomy/cheese.htm

Los Balanchares cheese farm in the south of Córdoba: http://www.losbalanchares.com/
Payoyo in the Grazalema mountains: http://www.payoyo.com/

The best olive oil I've ever tasted was from small town Estepa, not very far from Sevilla: http://www.oleoestepa.com/index.php/..._store=default
They serve it at Taberna del Alabardero in Sevilla, at lest they used to a couple of years ago: http://www.tabernadelalabardero.es/

I know that you are not asking about places to stay, but I can't forget this place where we stayed while cycling in Andalucia, Hacienda Minerva, because I have often thought, "Well, if I ever go back, we'll stay here, rent a car, and tour the area.
Their English website is pretty awful http://www.hotelhaciendaminerva.com/...erva_Home.html
so I'd suggest looking at the Spanish version to get a better idea:

TripAdvisor has a lot of reviews for them.
It's a converted monastery set in the heart of olive groves. The staff are very welcoming, and they'd steer you correctly to everything you'd want to see in the area.
The walking/biking trail connects to a small hilltop village Zuheros next to the Via Verde bike path with amazing views. There's an overlook there where all of us drank in not only the view but also all the area wines . And the bar area also has amazing views. Of course, all of us inhaled wine there, too.
We had an olive oil tasting at the hotel, but that was arranged specifically for our cycling group. I'm sure, though, that the hotel staff could direct you to all places of interest, be it olives, cheese or wine, in the area.
