Hello, fellow travelers. Looking for info on farm stays or "gites" inthe Arles/Avignon/Provence area during late Sept. We are a 50's couple travelling by car, and although I speak decent French, the printed literature I received from the tourist bureau is VERY cumbersome and difficult to use. We will be in this area for 3 -4 days. Can anyone recommend website(s) on inexpensive "zimmer-frei" type accommodations (staying in a private residence/rural farmhouse) in this area ? We found some nice places in southern Germany for under $50/night! Hoping to find the same in Provence.

On the above site under "Type d'accueil" search "Gîtes rurax".

We are staying here for 2 weeks at the end of Sept and early Oct. They have 2 units; perhaps the other is available.
