Sorry to report this sad news, from the family of Art Hussey

Notified by his son, Wesley. Art died at th VA hospotal where he had been nospitalized for a prolonged period.

Those who want Mr. Hussey's e-mail address are welcome to write to me.

Hard to end this posting, as I customarily do, but to the memory of Art, I send... to the cosmos... all...

best wishes,

How sad! I thought he was doing better. Its been a long time and lots of newbies have no idea what we are talking about.

Art was one of the finest contributers on this board . . . . . . . .

Oh Rex, although I did not know Art as a lot of you did I have been aware of the fact he was in a hospital in Portland and his travel plans had been put on hold of course.

I am so sorry to hear about Art's death. I pray he is travelling in the great beyond. He truly sounded like a wonderful person and believe those that knew him were truly blessed.

My prayers and best thoughts go to Art's family and a special prayer will be said for Art. Take care Rex.

Rex - So sad to hear this news. Godspeed to his family at this time, and to you too. I can tell this has hit you hard because you never make typos. Take care.

Thank you Rex for letting everyone know of this sad news. Art and I have been firm friends for quite some years though we only met once.

He shall be missed very much.

Ohhhhhh. I'm so sad

He touched many lives on this site alone. One can only imagine how many people he touched in 'real' life. He will be missed.

My sympathies to his family.

So sad, but Art was a fine example in courage during this long time he'd been sick.

Thanks for posting this, Rex

This news is heartbreaking. Art was kind, funny, patriotic, loyal to his friends, never afraid to speak up for what he believed in and a genuinely good person. He had a heart of gold. His loss is going to affect many, many people, and my heart goes out to his family. He was my friend, and I am going to miss him.

Our little community here has lost a great contributor.

Rex, could you please let Mr. Wesley Hussey know of the sentiments here so he may read them when he wishes?

My condolences to his family.
